Range
The antenna reaches 15 km+ line of sight on open water, typically 1 to 3 km in hills and trees. Every device relays for the group, so reach grows with your crew.
Colour ring
Every Go ships with all seven colour rings. Swap the ring any time, so the device can match the colour you picked in the app, or whoever is carrying it today.
Battery
48 hr+ of active GPS tracking on a single charge, 120 hr+ with GPS off. Recharge over USB-C from any power bank or wall outlet.
Durability
The main housing is 3D printed from ASA, a plastic chosen for outdoor stability: UV, cold, and vibration don’t bother it. The top and bottom caps are TPU, rugged and flexible, so knocks and drops get absorbed instead of cracked.

Assembled one at a time in Bradford, Ontario.
We build in small batches, so every TraiLink is put together, finished, and tested by a person before it ships. It also means no two are perfectly identical. Slight variations in finish are part of a hand-built product, not a fault.

Mounts wherever you go
TraiLink clips onto your gear straight out of the box. When you want it locked to the machine instead, pick the mount that fits: strap it to the bars, stick it flat, clamp it on, or lock it into MOLLE webbing.

Other tracking apps drain your phone because they run its GPS all day. The TraiLink app hands that job to your TraiLink instead: once its fix is strong, your phone's own GPS switches off and the live map runs on TraiLink position data.

Illustrative comparison. Continuous GPS tracking typically drains a modern phone around 8% per hour; TraiLink-fed tracking over Bluetooth uses around 4%, including normal standby. Real numbers vary with your phone, screen time, and temperature. The app switches to TraiLink GPS automatically as soon as the device gets a strong GPS lock.
The app is optional
Turn on standalone mode and you can close the app mid-adventure. TraiLink keeps tracking and relaying for the crew on its own.
Phone dead? You're still on the map.
In standalone mode your TraiLink keeps transmitting your location, so the crew still sees you even when your phone can't.
Run low anyway? It's a power bank.
Every TraiLink carries a 3500 mAh battery and a USB-C port that normally runs the LED Display. Plug your phone into that port and it becomes an emergency power bank: a 20-40% top-up, deep in the backcountry where it counts.
Top-up amount depends on your phone's battery size. Charging your phone uses TraiLink battery.

We bought a 3pack and took them into the mountains jet boating on the Kootenay. They worked awesome! The alert and communication features come on handy for stuck boats and trail breaks. The connections are fast and easy. Works better than all the gps apps I've used as well as trail techs. Well worth the money.
I recently tested Trailink while snowmobiling in the backcountry and was really impressed with the reliability of the system. The radio stayed connected even when we were spread out across a large riding area where there’s zero cell service. The small LED display is simple but effective, and the Trailink Go unit worked great mounted to my sled. It’s a great solution for keeping track of your group in remote terrain.
I live near the mountains of Revelstoke BC. I ride a G5 Skidoo with the small gauge, I ride with other Skidoo's, Polaris's and Cats. We bought a 3 Pack of the Trailink and so far we are VERY impressed with how they are working. I have had some questions and they have got back to me right away with answers. FAQ
Before you ask
Do I need a subscription?
No. You buy the device once and tracking is free for good. The network is your group's devices talking to each other, so there is nothing to activate and no plan to keep alive.
How many devices does my group need?
One per person, minimum two. More devices means a stronger, longer-reaching network.
What's the real range?
Up to 15 km device-to-device on open ice or fields, and typically 1–3 km in dense forest. Because every device relays for the group, a spread-out crew reaches much farther than any single link.
What conditions does it handle?
Proven on Ontario snowmobile trails in snow, slush, and cold, and its sealed, rugged build shrugs off summer heat, dust, and rain just the same. One device, every season.
Can it call Search & Rescue?
No. TraiLink is group-to-group, not an SOS beacon. It's how your crew finds each other. For summoning outside rescue anywhere on Earth, a satellite SOS device is the right companion tool.
